What do you make of the tar balls?

...would they share their story with the good neighbors? would they grant the Lebanese the publicity they so rightly deserved? would they haunt them for years to come, as they have grown accustomed to sweeping dust under the carpet in Beirut? or maybe, they would just drown, and with that, their problems would just disappear...

i am very sad for this unfortunate environmental crisis which affects not only lebanon but the whole east coast of the mediterranean.
i hope the spill can be contained and cleaned.

Thanks all. I certainly hope they clean the spill soon. The beaches of Lebanon are beautiful and we want them to remain that way forever.

This picture is from Atlas beach in Jyeh.
I love that place. and a lot of people feel the same way. That is why there is still hope.
